Prize Draw - Win Back the Value of Your Gate

Cannock Gates, the UK’s largest manufacturer of gates and railings, has this week announced the result of its October prize draw, which saw one lucky purchaser win back the cost of their gate.

During October, anyone who placed an order with Cannock Gates was put into a prize draw to win back the full cost of their order. The autumn promotion was a huge success, with 647 people entering the prize draw.  The winner was Mrs. Sirrett from Solihull.

She comments: “When I ordered my new gate, I really didn’t think I stood any chance of winning but I’m absolutely thrilled!  I chose a Cherbourne-style garden gate, as I wanted to make my garden more secure, and now, I have also made a saving of almost £500.  The gate has now been fitted and I’m delighted!”

Julie Turnbull, general manager for Cannock Gates explains: “This is the first time we have run a prize draw competition and it has been hugely successful for us.  Amid the current climate, our wide selection of gates and railings, coupled with our bespoke service offering, is proving exceptionally popular with homeowners looking to add value to their properties.

Redditch School Unveils State-Of-The-Art New Entrance

19th October 2009… Pupils and teachers at Roman Way First School were joined by the Mayor of Redditch and gate manufacturer Cannock Gates this week to unveil a state-of-the art new entrance at the school.

The school, which entered a national competition, launched by Cannock Gates, fought off competition from ten other schools across the UK, securing an incredible 74,014 votes to win the prize worth £2,000.

To mark the occasion, Malcolm Hall, Mayor of Redditch, and Elizabeth Boorer from Cannock Gates joined pupils, teachers and parents to officially unveil the new gate.

Jane Scarborough, head teacher, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to finally have our new gate in place. Our school motto is ‘only my best will do’ and we encourage all our pupils to take pride in their school and each other. The school’s old gates simply didn’t do it justice. We have worked closely with Cannock Gates to design the perfect entrance for our school, incorporating both our school colours and motto.”

Julie Turnbull, general manager for Cannock Gates, comments: “As a Midlands based company ourselves, it’s been great to be able to support a school on our patch! As we offer a bespoke service, we have been able to ensure the school has exactly the gate they want. We hope the new gate will welcome many pupils and visitors to the school for years to come.”
