All goods are supplied with a standard 12 month workmanship warranty from the date of purchase, with the exception of wrought iron style gates (10 year workmanship guarantee) and wooden gates (5 year workmanship guarantee). This covers the strucutral integrity of the welding on metal gates and the joints on wooden gates. Please note that warranties are only valid if the products have the correct maintenance and have not been modified. All painting of metal products and treatment of wooden products done by Cannock Gates (even if painted and/or fitted by Cannock Gates Ltd) is not covered in the guarantee as it is the end customer that must regularly check for rust/rot and re-treat the product accordingly. We cannot be held responsible for metal rusting or wood rotting as it is beyond our control as to how the product is fitted and subsequently looked after. Rust and Wood Rot are thus not covered in any way under any of the guarantees. Cannock Gates must be informed within 14 days of delivery if any goods are received and then damage is found. When purchasing on the Cannock Gates web site, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions unless there is a prior agreement in writing. Please note that because orders for non-standard gates are made to the customer’s specification, we are unable to accept cancellation of orders once the product has been dispatched. Our 14-day money-back guarantee does not apply to non-standard products. Cancellation after production has started but prior to despatch will incur a cost to be determined at the time, with only the balance of any monies paid to be refunded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
