A new gate has been installed at Cardiff City Football Club's ground to prevent clashes between rival fans.
The South Wales Echo reported that the gates have been set up behind Bob Bank seating in anticipation of capacity crowds at the forthcoming FA cup tie for Cardiff against Arsenal.
Out of the 20,000 expected to watch the fourth-round event, more than 4,000 fans will be supporting Arsenal and will be seated at the Grange End of the ground preventing home supporters from leaving from this entrance.
Wayne Nash, ground manager, told the news provider: "A gate has been introduced on the rear walkway and this physical barrier will be manned by stewards who will ensure all fans are directed the right way.
"No home fans will be able to exit via the area at the rear of the Grange End."
Previously, the MidCheshire Chronicle reported that Northwich's Victoria Club has become tied up in a row with the landlord of its ground, which has seen players locked out.
