Police in Nottingham are appealing for witnesses and information after a JCB digger was stolen earlier this week.
According to the Nottingham Evening Post, the industrial vehicle was taken from a site located on Daneshill road in the Lound area between 19:00 GMT on Monday (December 22nd) and 6:20 yesterday morning.
It is believed that thieves entered the premises by forcing their way through locked security gates which limit access to the site and then proceeded to remove the vehicle.
Police have reported that the vehicle has a flat-tyre and has called for witnesses to the event or those with information regarding the whereabouts of the digger to contact Retford Police station.
Late last month, the Hamilton Advertiser reported that two men are wanted in connection with a break-in at a plant hire site during which a 4x4 and a van were stolen.
One of the vehicles was used to ramraid the security gates at the entrance to the property.
