NB Real Estates is looking into installing a barrier, and possibly gates, to help deal with boy racers at Four Pools Retail Park in Evesham, it has emerged.
Homeowners in Spinney Grove were disturbed by the revving engines and squealing tyres emanating from the car park and park managers NB Real Estates is now looking to invest in a barrier to prevent entry vehicle entry after hours, the Evesham Journal has reported.
Louisa Greenwood from the management firm told the publication that residents had made the organisation aware of the issues and that it has also been in contact with police about the issues.
Sargeant Phil Stayte told the newspaper: "Officers will attend and lock the car park gate themselves if there are any reports of such activity before the gates are closed at the usual time of 10pm."
In related news, earlier this month saw Worthing Borough Council announce that the Durrington Cemetery gates are to be closed during night time to keep out boy racers.
