People in Acton are calling for the gates of a local park to be locked at night to discourage antisocial behaviour, according to reports.
Residents living near Trinity Open Space say there have been a series of incidents in recent years - including muggings, fires, litter and drugs - that make a case for the gates to be locked after dark, the Ealing Gazette reports.
"There's a fence that goes all the way round the open space and six gated entrance ways and all that we are asking for is to lock the entrances after dark because of the things that have gone on at night," local woman Emily Orme told the paper.
Police are reportedly conducting high-visibility patrols in the area and liaising with park rangers to improve the situation.
The news follows reports in Moortown Today that new security gates are to be installed in Potternewton Park in Chapeltown, Leeds.
