Mortice Locks For Wrought Iron Gates
Choosing your mortice lock:
Single gates: All single gates are right-hand hanging, so the lock will be situated on the left of the gate as you look at it from the kerbside.
Pair of gates: You can choose to have your mortice lock fitted on the left or right hand side of your new gates. As you look at the gate from the roadside, if you want the lock on the left-hand leaf simply choose the left-hanging mortice lock option (CG18/L) or if you want it on the right-hand leaf choose the right-hanging mortice lock option (CG18/R), as indicated in the diagram.
