How to choose the right posts for your gate...
1. Firstly, decide on which gate you would like
2. Make a note of the height of the gate you have chosen and the Post Section required - you will find this information in the details of your chosen gate.
3. Next, look for the recommended Post Section category on the website or use the link within the 'You might also like' product recommendations (on the right hand side of the screen).
4. Find the post that relates to the height of your gate (in the product title you will see 'For X'h Gate'.
Please note: If you have selected a pair of gates with differing heights at the side and the centre please use the side height as the basis for choosing the correct post. For example: If you have chosen the 6' (1.83m) Royal Talisman Split Arch Pairs (side height 5' (1.52m)) the correct size post is the 5' (1.52m) High Pairs Rising to 6' (1.83m).
5. Once you have found your gate height, you then need to decide whether your posts will need to be inserted below the ground or fixed above the ground with a wall fixing.
6. Remember, if you are buying a pair of gates you will need 2 hanging posts. For a single gate you will need 1 hanging post and 1 latching post.

Important information: These posts are for gates that require posts from 'Post Section B'. Our 3" x 3" (75 x 75mm) posts are for gates to fit up to a 10' (3.05m) gap. For gates to fit a gap of 10' (3.05m) or over please order the 4" x 4" (100 x 100cm) posts.
