With its elegant and striking profile, our County wooden field gate is a firm favourite with customers, giving a rural flavour to properties in a wide variety of locations. Based on the classic five-bar design, the County has a laminated hanging stile, which curves beyond the gate’s 4’ closing stile to give it its signature look. On wider models, an extended diagonal wooden bar connects this curved stile to its opposite corner, reinforcing the gate’s strength.

Every County gate is handmade using time-proven mortise and tenon joints to ensure maximum strength, rigidity and durability throughout the long life of the gate. All wood is smooth-planed. Available in a wide range of sizes, many customers choose to hang a narrow model alongside a wider model for separate pedestrian and vehicle access, as shown.

Only PEFC certified Scandinavian redwood is used, as part of our commitment to protecting the environment.  We supply our gates as natural wood or finished with a quality wood stain. Please see the options menu for prices and colours.

All sizes are planed finish.

Please note this wooden field gate requires a minimum 6” x 6” (150 x 150mm) post.
